Opening Prayer
Narration is not yet available for this tradition in your selected language. All prayers are ready to read.
The Stations of the Cross for Children is a special way to walk with Jesus and remember how much He loves us. At each station, we hear what happened to Jesus on His way to the Cross, and we talk to Him in prayer. This is a devotion for families, classrooms, and young hearts.
Dear Jesus, today we are going to walk with You on Your journey to the Cross. You loved us so much that You gave up Your life for us. Help us to be brave like You. Help us to be kind to everyone we meet. As we pray at each station, open our hearts so we can love the way You love. We are ready to begin. Amen.
Plays narration and Stabat Mater for each station, then automatically advances. Perfect for walking the Way in a church.
At each station say:
V. We adore You, O Christ, and we bless You.
R. Because by Your holy Cross You have redeemed the world.
~42 minutes for all 14 stations
