Overview

Way of the Cross (“stations.app”) is a prayer companion app. We respect your privacy and collect the absolute minimum data needed to provide the service.

Data We Collect

  • Account information (optional): If you sign in, we store your email address to sync your devotion history across devices. You can use the app without signing in.
  • Devotion history: Which traditions you pray and when, stored locally on your device. If signed in, synced to our servers for cross-device access.
  • Preferences: Language, audio speed, and display settings, stored locally on your device.

Data We Do Not Collect

  • We do not use advertising SDKs or ad networks.
  • We do not sell or rent your personal data. Service providers process the data needed to operate the features you use.
  • We do not track your location.
  • We do not collect analytics that identify you personally.

Third-Party Services

  • Supabase: Authentication and data storage (if signed in). See Supabase Privacy Policy.
  • Stripe: Processes web audio purchases. We receive purchase status; we do not store card details.
  • RevenueCat, Apple, and Google: In native builds configured for in-app purchases, these providers process purchase identifiers and entitlement status to unlock and restore narration. Native purchases are associated with your store account.
  • Vercel: Web hosting and cookieless web analytics, which count page views and prayer feature use on the website without identifying you. Analytics are off in native builds. Prayer intentions are never sent as analytics events. See Vercel Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

This app is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.

Your Rights

You can request permanent deletion from Settings. Your account is shared with other Catholic apps using the same sign-in; the confirmation explains this before deletion. Store providers retain their transaction records. You can use the app without an account. Prayer history and preferences then stay on your device; hosting and web analytics still process web requests.
